17 Items to Pack for a Day at Disney

IMG_2113.jpeg

Planning a trip can be overwhelming. So whether you’re rocking a fanny pack like Morgan or a backpack like Laurel, here’s a list on what you should consider packing for a day at Disney so that you have one less thing to think about. In the words of Maui, “you’re welcome”:

1.) Wallet OR Cell Phone Card Holder (this helps lighten the load). Whichever one you use, be sure to pack your ID and credit card (Disney Visa Credit or Debit recommended for discount options at stores throughout the park).

2.) Cash

3.) Sunscreen

4.) BAND-AIDs/Blister BAND-AIDs

5.) Travel-Sized Deodorant if you are one of those people who needs it. You know who you are.

6.) Power Bank (this is a life saver - Disney has a severe shortage of outlets and charging stations)

7.) Power Bank Charger Cable

8.) Cell Phone

9.) Cell Phone Charger

10.) Disneyland/California Adventure Maps (you get these from the entrance to the parks). Trust me, they’re worth throwing into your bag. Not only will you feel like Magellan, you won’t have to drain your phone battery pulling up maps on the app every time you need directions. Which will be often.

11.) Hand Sanitizer

12.) Sunglasses

13.) Mickey Ears

14.) Light Hoodie if you are staying for a late night show (i.e. World of Color, Disney Fireworks Show, Fantasmic!) and get cold easily

15.) Hair Ties

16.) Chapstick/Lip Balm

17.) Water Bottle

Let us know if you think there’s something we’re missing from this list, but I think we’ve covered just about everything you would find in Mary Poppins’ carpetbag.
